Angola, IN – Trine University has announced its membership in the Coalition for College, a national non-profit organization dedicated to making college application and financial aid processes more accessible for all students. This move signifies Trine’s commitment to removing barriers and empowering students to pursue higher education opportunities.

“Joining the Coalition for College aligns with Trine’s mission to provide a transformative educational experience for all,” said [Name], [Title] at Trine University. “We believe that every student deserves a fair chance to navigate the complexities of college applications and financial aid, and the Coalition’s platform provides a streamlined, equitable process.”

The Coalition for College offers a comprehensive suite of resources, including a free online platform where students can:

Build their college application: Manage their application materials, including essays, transcripts, and recommendations.

Access financial aid resources: Explore scholarships, grants, and loan options, and learn about financial aid eligibility.

Connect with college representatives: Attend virtual college fairs and engage in online discussions with admissions counselors.

Trine University students will now have access to these valuable resources, empowering them to navigate the college application process with greater confidence.

“By joining the Coalition, we are providing our students with a critical advantage,” added [Name]. “This platform will help them demonstrate their talents and academic achievements in a meaningful way, increasing their chances of gaining admission to their dream colleges.”

Trine University’s commitment to expanding access to higher education is further solidified by this membership. By leveraging the Coalition’s resources, the university aims to ensure that all students, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to achieve their educational goals and build a brighter future.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
