7 Best Family Resorts in Tahiti That All Ages Love

It’s no surprise that French Polynesia’s largest island is a well-liked holiday destination with its black-sand beaches, delectably chilly waterfalls, quiet lagoons, and friendly residents.

You’re probably already going to enjoy one of the most excellent family beach vacations ever if you’re traveling to Tahiti.

Here is my selection of the top Tahiti family resorts to make it even better.

  1. InterContinental Tahiti Resort and Spa

The InterContinental Tahiti is a potential base camp for a family trip to Tahiti because plenty of family-friendly entertainment is available here!

The hotel doesn’t have a beach, but it makes up for this with its enormous lagoon-shaped pool, another pool, and an artificial lagoon-cum-aquarium where guests can snorkel and feed the fish.

After taking part in numerous events and family-friendly cultural performances, relax in your accommodation, suite, or bungalow, which is a fantastic choice for families of four.

  1. InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa

The InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa is the next hotel I’d recommend for families visiting Tahiti.

This resort is a tropical paradise with gorgeous gardens and endless rolling beaches!

Kids can take part in activities that highlight the flora and fauna of Polynesia, such as discovering how turtles are protected on the island at the Turtle Care Center. This facility specializes in turtle rehabilitation and discovering dolphins at the Moorea Dolphin Center, both of which are located on the island.

In addition, families have access to tennis courts, exciting water activities, and two fantastic infinity pools with plenty of sun loungers.

  1. Hotel Les Tipaniers

The Hotel Les Tipaniers is a stunning structure situated next to a spotless beach and was built in the traditional Polynesian style.

Although there isn’t a pool at the hotel, the magnificent beach and excellent water sports ensure you have time to catch one.

The well-kept lawns allow the kids to run around uninhibited.

Families are welcome to stay in the roomy bungalows, which, despite being somewhat isolated, are close to the attractive cafes and shops in the town center.

Some bungalows include kitchens and may house up to six people.

  1. Manava Beach Resort and Spa Moorea

Numerous immaculate beaches, a sizable pool, and a dive center with a wide variety of water activities are all featured at the Manava Beach Resort and Spa.

This property, ideally near the town center, only has “tropical holiday sensations.”

A fantastic spa with various conventional and non-traditional treatments is available on-site.

Families can rarely stay in the above-water bungalows (which can only sleep 3); instead, choose the home or twin-level duplex, which can comfortably sleep up to 4 people.

  1. Royal Tahitien Hotel

The Royal Tahitien is a well-liked and practical choice among families traveling to Tahiti with children because it is comparatively suburban and is accessible to both the buzzing downtown center and the airport.

However, you may still have a fantastic beach vacation because of the resort’s wonderful black-sand beach!

The Royal Tahitien is built like a motel, with parking outside the guest rooms. It also has a fantastic pool and lovely landscaping.

Families can book conventional rooms or studios, the latter of which have well-equipped kitchens and sleep up to 4 people.

  1. Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort

The tranquil Tahiti Pearl Beach Resort is ideally situated on the ocean and makes for a relaxing getaway.

The Tahiti Pearl offers guests incredible views of the water and the lush Lafayette Beach area because of its excellent location on the historically significant Matavai Bay.

The resort is conveniently close to the island’s critical attractions due to its position.

The resort is inclusive, making the offer even sweeter. You can find family holiday packages here that are budget-friendly.

  1. Vanira Lodge

The Vanira Lodge is an excellent option to think about for your Tahiti vacation because it is named after the local term for “vanilla” (and, according to the resort’s website, to signify the mix of harmony, sweetness, and peace that guests will find throughout their stay here).

The lodge provides some of the best views of the South Pacific, allowing you to enjoy a breathtaking sunset from your stone and wood cabin every evening of your stay.

Up to 4 people can stay in a bungalow with a private bathroom and kitchen.

Enjoy a leisurely evening stroll through the resort’s lush tropical gardens, situated all around the cabins and bungalows.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
