Looking for a page-turner that will have you glued to your seat, heart racing and mind racing? Look no further than these three new thrillers, each offering a unique blend of suspense, intrigue, and nail-biting tension.

1. “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides

This psychological thriller is guaranteed to keep you guessing until the very last page. Alicia Berenson, a famous painter, has been silent for six years since she shot her husband dead. Psychotherapist Theo Faber becomes obsessed with unlocking the mystery behind her silence, determined to uncover the truth. “The Silent Patient” is a masterfully crafted story that blends elements of mystery, romance, and psychological drama, leaving you questioning everything and everyone as you try to piece together the truth.

2. “Verity” by Colleen Hoover

This dark and twisted thriller centers around Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling author who is hired to complete the final book in a bestselling series by the famous author Verity Crawford. When Lowen discovers a manuscript filled with shocking confessions and disturbing secrets, her world is thrown into disarray. Is Verity’s account of events true, or is there something more sinister at play? “Verity” is a gripping read that explores themes of obsession, betrayal, and the dark side of human nature.

3. “The Institute” by Stephen King

From the master of horror, Stephen King, comes a chilling tale about a group of children who are mysteriously snatched from their homes and taken to a sinister institution called The Institute. The children possess extraordinary abilities, and the Institute is determined to harness their power for its own nefarious purposes. This heart-pounding novel is a testament to King’s ability to create characters you care about and worlds that feel all too real. The suspense builds steadily, leaving you on the edge of your seat as you root for the children to escape their nightmarish fate.

These are just a few of the many thrilling new releases that are sure to keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat. Whether you prefer psychological suspense, dark twists, or supernatural chills, there’s a thriller out there waiting for you. So grab a blanket, dim the lights, and prepare for a sleepless night of reading!

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
