Are you searching for products that you can use with your 1st-grade learners? Check out the definitive list that we made. Who did we miss?

1000 Sight Words Superhero– Kids learn to read and spell the 1000 most commonly repeated words. The product groups these sight words into 50 sets containing 20 words each to avoid flooding the kid with 1000 words at once. To avoid  repetition, the pupil can highlight words already learned and focus on new words.

ABC Magnetic Alphabet– Some things are not fun for kids, and learning can be one of them. Answer this problem with a magnetic board designed after the old-school magnetic boards. It enables kids to attach colorful pieces (letters, numbers, symbols, and figures) to the board. Suitable for kids of all ages.

ABC Magnetic Alphabet Lite for Children–Teach your kids to read and write the alphabet while you play with them. Let them tap into their creativity by putting objects anywhere they want on the board.

ABC Magnetic Board: Alphabet–This product features uppercase English letters and alphabet-shaped puzzles. The standard bundle comes with numbers, shapes, symbols, and lowercase letters vocalized in English. In-product purchases are available to add features that enhance the kids learning experience.

ABC Mouse– ABCmouse lets your kid solve math problems such as counting and operations based on the solid foundation of numbers they learn by using this product. You can either make a new ABCmouse.com account or log in to an existing one via the product. Available on both Android and iOS platforms.

ABC Phonics – Short Vowel Words– Permits growing children to master phonics by shooting missiles to find words from the submarine they are navigating. PhonicsOne is especially for children learning to read; PhonicsTwo and PhonicsThree are available for middle school children. Kids are rewarded with jewels and a mini game upon completion of a level.

ABC Phonics – Rhyming Words–Assists kids in mastering phonics by matching rhyming word pairs. Kids are rewarded with jewels and a mini game upon completion of a level. This product also helps kids recognize how consonant and vowel placements impact pronunciation, such as in “ch” and “sh.”

ABC Phonics – Make a Word– Offers phonics and spelling solutions to kids who are learning to read. All the words have short vowel sounds. Phonics Advanced is available for older kids, and it comes with long and double vowel sounds. It also helps kids recognize how consonant and vowel placements affect pronunciation.

ABC Phonics – Animated– Developed utilizing the expertise of phonics educators, this product is an excellent introduction to phonics. Alphabets are written on the screen with animated tracing for the kid to follow, and the product pronounces the letters for the kid. This combination helps the kid build a solid basis to grow.

ABC Phonics – Word Family Tree– Blends spelling, phonics beginning sound word family phonics, short vowel sounds, and pictures with many visual enhancements for each word. The product contains a total of 56-word family groups to be utilized to teach short and long vowels, spelling, and pronunciation using the Montessori Method.

ABC Spelling Magic 1– By using ABC Spelling magic, your kid learns the sounds letters make and how to use them to form words. The product also teaches the kid to segment, which is a vital part of learning to read. The first portion of the product uses a limited number of letters to form words, while the second portion contains all 26 letters of the alphabet. The product teaches the kid to spell words utilizing three phonetic sounds and short vowel sounds.

ABC Spelling Magic 2– Focuses on using consonant clusters to form words. The product also teaches the kid to segment, which is a vital part of learning to read. The first portion of the product uses a limited number of letters to form words, while the section part contains all 26 letters of the alphabet.

ABC Spelling Magic 3– The 3rd stage in the series,  This product gives your kid the chance to learn 4- to 7-letter word constructions with several syllables. It contains nine segments with 108 words to keep your kid interested.

Power Math– Power Math is a great way to master elementary math abilities. Via digital flashcards, learners will learn addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. They can personalize and edit these; however, they want to help them best learn. All flashcards will then be generated randomly for an extra challenge in studying. You can even zero in on a particular skill, such as dividing by three or subtracting by five. Parents and educators are encouraged to assist kids with this product to promote learning, increase motivation, and praise correct answers.

Splash Math – Good for catching up, practice, or enrichment; Splash Math uses games and a built-in reward system to make math fun. Real time progress reports are available for educators and guardians to pinpoint areas of concern or celebrate improvements. The product also has an option to email progress reports. Possessing 3 themes, space, candy, and jungle, Splash Math is customizable to learners’ interests and contains all major math skills from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
