Key West is an ideal destination for families. Although it’s full of amazing things to do and see, there’s something special about the island that makes it feel like home. It really does feel like another country here in southernmost Florida, with its laid-back vibe and relaxed vibe. If you’re looking for a hotel in Key West that’s the perfect place for your family vacation (and we do mean excellent), then look no further! In this blog post, we’ll share our top picks for hotels in Key West that will make your trip an unforgettable experience.

  1. Hawks Cay Resort

Hawks Cay Resort is a family-friendly resort that’s just minutes away from the heart of Key West. The beach with white sand here is beautiful, and palm trees shade it from the sun, which is ideal and relaxing for families who want to enjoy some time together on vacation.

If you’re looking for more than just an excellent hotel room, then we recommend checking out their kids’ club! This facility offers programs for children ages 5-12 years old as well as youth programs for teens 13-17 years old (but not limited to). The staff will help your little ones learn about nature through games like sandcastle building or even fishing lessons—and there are plenty of other activities too!

  1. Oceans Edge Key West

Located just steps away from Duval Street, this hotel is an excellent choice for families who want to be right in the center of everything. The Oceans Edge Key West offers spacious rooms with kitchens and balconies that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. You’ll also find an outdoor pool (great for kids), spa services, and dining options on-site—including three restaurants that serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner every day of the week!

If you’re planning your next vacation with your whole family in mind, then we recommend staying at this charming resort because it’s one of the most kid-friendly hotels in town! There are plenty of activities for kids as well: from pirate ships sailing by every day during the high season to craft workshops like making necklaces from sea glass found on local beaches; there’s something here for everyone!

  1. Cheeca Lodge & Spa

If you want to choose a luxury resort in the Florida Keys, look no further than Cheeca Lodge & Spa. Located in Islamorada, this resort boasts a private island for guests to enjoy, as well as a full spa and pool. There are also golf courses on-site as well as an arcade game room—perfect for kids!

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
