Are you searching for products that you can use with your learners who have Dyscalculia? Check out the definitive list that we made. Who did we miss?

Math Ref– To help students understand math and associated studies, this product merges 1,400 equations and formulas. It can be utilized in physics, chemistry, science, math, and more. There is no reason to memorize equations nowadays; instead of writing them down or searching for them each time you need them, Math Ref will keep the formulas you need at your fingertips. The product also contains important tools such as unit converting, triangle solver, and fundamental calculators to aid you in doing homework problems.

Reflex– This product offers a potent, adaptive, individualized solution to help learners increase their fluency in math facts and contains powerful reporting capability. It is easy for educators to use and helps them monitor each learner’s performance to make the optimal experience for every kid.

Curriculum Associates’ i-ready – Online program for grades K-12 makes the promise of differentiated instruction a practical reality for educators and learners. i-Ready merges powerful assessments and rich insights with effective and engaging instruction in reading and math to address learners’ individual needs. The adaptive diagnostic provides educators with actionable insight into learner needs and offers a comprehensive picture of learner performance and growth, eliminating the need for multiple, redundant tests. The diagnostic results also set a personalized learning path for each learner, ensuring they’re working on engaging instruction that matches their unique learning needs.

Edgenuity’s Pathblazer – is a supplemental, online intervention program that helps move struggling learners up to grade-level proficiency in both math and reading. The program prescribes individualized learning pathways with fun, motivating content that addresses skill and concept gaps. Plus, Pathblazer is Common Core and state standards–aligned, so learners aren’t just catching up, they are mastering standards. With abilities available for learners from kindergarten to 8th grade, Edgenuity’s Pathblazer can easily provide the targeted instruction they need to close learning gaps, even at the basic level. All while offering clear and easy-to-read data and reporting so educators can monitor learner progress at a glance and quickly step in to offer extra help when needed.

Gooru – Gooru is a learning navigator designed to meet learners where they are and help them progress toward their learning goals. Users on Gooru access resources such as videos, textbooks, and interactive websites. The content is tailored to focus on math, language arts, social studies, and science studies.

Hproducty Numbers –  helps PK-5 educators differentiate instruction and deepen learners’ conceptual understanding of math. The product is driven by pedagogy, while supported by tech (and not vice versa). We teach learners to think math with elements such as visual modeling, virtual manipulatives, and multiple representations of math concepts to give learners the opportunity to discover the meaning behind math, creating connections and developing deep conceptual understanding. Hproducty Numbers is learner-led, at the same time, integrated into the class routines to not be disruptive. While educators differentiate in small groups, Hproducty Numbers differentiates with the rest of the class and gives educators actionable insights about learner growth.

i-Ready – This is a suite of CCSS-based diagnostic and instructional tools for math and English. To begin, learners take an adaptive placement test. Based on the results, i-Ready creates a personalized instructional pathway for each learner. Educators can let i-Ready function on its own, or they can personalize the instructional material offered to each learner.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
