Belize is one of those vacation spots that might not be top of your list, but your kids would enjoy it a lot!

Here is a helpful list of the top family resorts in Belize if you are thinking about taking a quick trip to Central America!

  1. Robert’s Grove Beach Resort – Placencia Beach

Robert’s Grove Beach Resort is among Belize’s greatest family-friendly all-inclusive resorts, regardless of how big or small your family is.

It provides two-bedroom and three-bedroom suites to suit all tastes and is situated on Placencia Beach.

If the oceanfront position of this resort is not enough for you, the 22 acres of well-kept grounds, three kid-friendly pools, on-site eateries, a gazebo, and a spa will keep everyone entertained.

  1. Chabil Mar – Placencia Village

Bottom of Form

Chabil Mar, one of Belize’s top beachside resorts for families, offers two distinct infinity pools, various dining options, and free use of kayaks, bikes, and paddle boards, among other amenities.

Each villa can accommodate a family of five, making the lodging options family-friendly.

Use the shuttle to reach the nearby community.

  1. Grand Caribe Belize – Ambergris Caye

The Grand Caribe Belize is a good option to consider if you are traveling in a large group and need family-friendly accommodations in Belize.

There are 5-bedroom villas and 4-bedroom flats on the site, each of which can house up to 10 people.

Along with the beach just in front of the property, there are six freshwater pools for the kids to play in while you take advantage of the swim-up bar and other amenities.

  1. Captain Morgan’s Retreat – Ambergris Caye

The Captain Morgan’s Retreat and its spectacular casino may be worth your time if you organize a family trip to Belize and want something to do after the kids go to bed.

Three-bedroom condos on the site may accommodate up to eight guests.

Three freshwater pools with swim-up bars are available, along with a magnificent restaurant where you may eat outside while the stars shine.

Undoubtedly a resort for families in Belize that promotes leisure.

  1. Caribbean Villas Hotel – San Pedro, Ambergris Caye

Although finding inexpensive lodging near the beach might seem uncommon, the Caribbean Villas Hotel is a great choice.

It provides two-level lodging with rooms for up to six persons.

There are adjoining kitchens with stoves, blenders, and refrigerators.

If you don’t feel like going to the beach, you can always go swimming in one of the freshwater pools or plan a night out at one of the many on-site restaurants.

  1. Xanadu Island Resort – San Pedro, Ambergris Caye

The Xanadu Island Resort is another option for a family-friendly Belize hotel in San Pedro Ambergris Caye.

The suites offer full kitchens, verandahs with expansive views of the beach or the property’s extensive gardens, and sleeping accommodations for up to six people.

There is no on-site restaurant, but there is a heated pool.

However, many eateries and pubs are close to the hotel.

  1. Jaguar Reef Lodge & Spa – Hopkins

The Jaguar Reed Lodge & Spa is another beachside resort that provides two-bedroom suites with full kitchens, which are excellent for families.

A heated infinity pool with a swim-up bar is available in addition to a children’s pool to keep adults entertained.

When you want to explore, you can choose from one of the resort’s expeditions and activities.

  1. Beaches and Dreams Boutique Hotel – Hopkins

The family suites at the Beaches and Dreams Boutique Hotel, which feature spacious verandahs and mini-fridges, are boutique hotels that keep guests comfortable.

The small pool can keep the kids occupied.

On-site amenities include a rooftop deck, a bar and grill, and several tours that the hotel can arrange for you.

  1. Blancaneaux Lodge – Western Belize

The Blancaneaux Lodge, a stunning property in a remote mountain environment, is one of Belize’s top luxury family resorts.

When traveling with family, choosing one of the two-bedroom villas that are furnished in a rustic-yet-luxurious fashion is crucial without sacrificing efficiency.

Enjoy the spa, two on-site eateries, and infinity and rock pools.

  1. The Lodge at ChaaCreek – Western Belize

You might choose The Lodge at ChaaCreek, located in a sizable rainforest reserve, if an environmental lodge is more your style.

Choose from the three-bedroom spa villas or the orchard villas, and take advantage of the restaurant’s organically grown food, the infinity pool, and the hilltop spa.

  1. Mystic River Resort – Western Belize

The Mystic River Resort, which offers bright two-bedroom apartments that can house up to four people, is another jungle resort you might want to consider if you’re visiting Western Belize.

This resort will keep you entertained even without air conditioning or a pool, thanks to the free use of canoes and river tubes.

  1. Almond Beach Resort Belize

The two-bedroom rooms with beach views at the Almost Beach Resort are perfect if you’re looking for an all-inclusive holiday package.

Choose from one of the adventure offers, and have a memorable trip with the little ones.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
