18 Colorful and Cool Paint Chip Crafts and Learning Activities

Paint chips are not just for picking out colors for your home decor. They can also be used for a variety of colorful and cool crafts and learning activities. Whether you have a stack of old paint chips lying around or you want to visit a home improvement store to collect some, here are 18 fun and creative uses for paint chips:

1. Color Matching Game: Cut out different shapes from paint chips and challenge children to match them with the corresponding colors.

2. Rainbow Bookmarks: Cut long, thin strips from paint chips in different colors and glue them together to create vibrant bookmarks.

3. DIY Desk Organizer: Fold larger paint chips into small compartments and secure them together to make a colorful desk organizer for holding pens, paperclips, and other small items.

4. Shape Collage: Cut paint chips into various shapes and sizes, then glue them onto a poster board to create a unique and colorful shape collage.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
