An adjective phrase is a set of words that behaves as an adjective in a sentence. An adjective headword may be supplemented by modifiers, determiners, and/or qualifiers. Also known as an adjectival phrase.
Adjective phrases modify nouns. They may be attributive or predicative, but not all adjectives can be employed in both positions.
