The new platform features CFA exam practice questions and concepts using an all-digital interface in anticipation of the exam moving to an online format in 2021

DALLAS (February 3, 2020) – UWorld, the leading medical licensure and online learning tool provider, today announced the launch of a new product to help finance industry professionals prepare for the CFA exam. This new online learning tool continues UWorld’s commitment to bringing its proven active learning methodology to a wide range of certification exam segments to enable professional licensure exam candidates to achieve greater success.

This launch of the Level I digital platform is the first phase of Uworld’s long-term strategy to provide comprehensive test prep solutions to finance professionals who want to pursue the CFA designation. The next phases will involve the launch of Level II and Level III digital platforms using the same quality, rigorous approach applied by the CFA Institute.

Reflecting UWorld’s dedication to producing only the highest-quality interactive online learning tools for high-stakes exams, the new CFA product was written by subject matter experts. UWorld’s content development team consists of CFA charterholders and industry professionals with diverse teaching experiences. Some members have been instructors for companies in the CFA Institute’s Approved Prep Provider Program, and others bring international teaching experience to the team.

“With each new product launch, our objective remains the same: to maintain our commitment to excellence,” said Chandra S. Pemmasani, M.D., UWorld’s founder and CEO. “That is why we pride ourselves on hiring only experienced authors and educators, constantly improving our content, and helping students achieve concept mastery.”

Like all other products in its portfolio, UWorld’s CFA Level I Exam Platform comes with industry-leading features, including:

  • A user-friendly online exam interface;
  • Questions that reflect the CFA exam learning outcome statements; and
  • Comprehensive explanations.

UWorld’s CFA product also features customizable exams that allow for unlimited practice tests, intuitive performance graphs to monitor progress and performance, and calculator keystrokes for solving complex equations. The all-digital platform also lets CFA candidates study anywhere, anytime from the convenience of their favorite devices.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
