As summer approaches, many families across the United States look forward to planning their next big adventure. For those seeking a wet and wild day out, here are the 36 best waterparks across the country to visit in 2023:

Each of these water parks offers its own unique thrills, including towering water slides, lazy rivers, wave pools, and kiddie areas. Some also include additional attractions such as mini-golf and laser tag. Several parks have been newly renovated or expanded, including Kalahari Resort Waterpark, which recently added nine new slides.

As you plan your next water park adventure, consider purchasing a multi-park pass, such as the Six Flags Season Pass or the Cedar Fair Platinum Pass, which grants access to multiple parks across the country. Many parks also offer discounted rates for military members, first responders, and students.

About Us

The Edvocate was created in 2014 to argue for shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to P-20 students in America. What we envisage may not be the most straightforward or the most conventional ideas. We call for a relatively radical and certainly quite comprehensive reorganization of America’s P-20 system.

That reorganization, though, and the underlying effort, will have much to do with reviving the American education system, and reviving a national love of learning.  The Edvocate plans to be one of key architects of this revival, as it continues to advocate for education reform, equity, and innovation.
